When you want to access a clip, you can use the iFlicks movie player which open within a smaller Quicktime style window within the iFlicks interface. iFlicks is the best and most complete video and metadata handling solution available for macOS. iFlicks is a great little application for all those that have a huge movie collection and arent sure how to manage it.
